Stop Autoplay for YouTube is very simple, but it works perfectly. Open your video, and it automatically pauses and lets it buffer until you get around to watching it. This extension doesn’t even let a millisecond of sound escape – the process is entirely silent until you press play. The only downside is that Stop Autoplay for YouTube only works with YouTube.
